Core Team
Our core team consists of organizations and individual coaches that bring years of experience in community organizing, elections administration, and design thinking. We use this experience to support the specific needs of each city where Elections 360 works, and to create spaces where different cities can meet, share resources, and learn from one another.
Organizations
To the Center for Civic Design, democracy is a design problem. The centerpiece of solving that problem is ensuring voter intent through design. Our goal is to make every interaction between government and citizens easy, effective, and pleasant.
Columbia World Projects, an initiative of Columbia University, mobilizes the university’s researchers and scholars to work with governments, organizations, businesses and communities to tackle global challenges.
The Elections Group partners with state and local election officials looking to implement new programs or improve processes for voters and stakeholders. Their team of election experts works quickly to provide guidance, resources, and direct management support for your jurisdiction.
Coaches
In addition to the organization partners listed above, our core team is also joined by individual experts from around the country that bring their experience in election administration, community organizing, and design thinking (among many other skills) to work with cities as the need arises.
Some of our coaches include:
Astrid Ochoa, director of the Future of California Elections
Susan Lerner, Common Cause NY and leader of the coalition for ranked choice voting
Sam Novey, co-founder of Baltimore Votes
and other local and regional leaders
